I guess I'm glad that you finally came out and told your parents about it, but I agree with the others in wishing they'd be more...uh...accepting of what you are and realize that this isn't a choice you're making, but a life you're living. As a parent, part of their job should be to support you and help you through any difficulties you may have in life, which is simply being honest with them in this case.
Not that it means a whole lot, but at least you probably have the full support of many of your friends, including those people here on this board.
