That one's been happening for a while now. From what I've read if he's violating the Japanese obscenity laws, fair enough. At least they have a concept of comics for grown-ups, just a desire to uphold certain standards within them, and it's not some horrible misinterpretation of the medium as a whole. The mangaka must have known the law, it's not as if it was the first manga he'd done.
