Cat Empire is a pretty funky blend of jazz, funk, latin and a few other genres.. Lots of brass, lots of dancers, very spectacular. My bf just went to a live performance at Metro a few weeks ago, but he's been following them around for a bit.. apparently when they perform on stage they're a top act.
Anyways, they just released an album here in Oz so you might find a few mp3s floating around the net somewhere. Try to hunt them down, they are COOL.MRk MRK n FnK Mz

I'm trying to find something by a band called Apartment 26. Helpfully it was untitled, but it was on a Mahoromatic AMV I saw this weekend. If anyone can give me a clue about that one...
