    Man has been the cause of all its own problems, not religion. Religion itself isn't a problem, it's when people take it to a fanatical level where it no longer has the positive effects it should on a person's life and becomes a way of separating people in to cliques and groups and trying to say one group is better than the other. If people realised that all the world's religions are basically going for the same goal we probably wouldn't have all these problems. And what this has to do with Final Fantasy I don't know, so I'll stop my theological ramble now.

      That was my opinion.
      I think so because, what if someone starts to think that this game mocks their religion because the developers make a mistake about it or something. Like as if they accidently mix a trait from one religion with another.
      EDIT: When I said "anti-religion" I did NOT mean against religions.

          Ah, but a secular videogame, especially an RPG, would be so much less interesting...and there lies the cusp of the problem.

            Religion is such a cool way to give motivation to a character. It drives people sometimes more than love, friendship, family. I think it plays a very important part in most games. Maybe religion should continue to be an important factor in RPGs in general.

                And the admins can't touch us. So long as we mention games every other post, we're on topic. Unlike that "Japanese rape" thread on the Anime board which stretched on for four pages before getting locked.---"Oh no! Jesus will kill us all!"                   Yeah, I'm admin, yeah we prolly should stop this thread given that Moon didn't want the other one going on the general board...but if it could just go back to being a discussion on Final Fantasy and religion as opposed to religion and religion, it wouldn't be so bad.
