Apparently. This has to be a low-point in Square's history if they have to resort to over-the-top sex appeal combined with sequel power to sell a game.
Either that or Spira is a very, very warm place.
Meh, whatever. I'm sure the lemon-writers over at www.greyarchive.org are frothing at the mouth.
Okay.. didn't ANY of you see the striptease-esque neko girl character selection thingy for FF online? You think this is the first time they've marketed sex appeal in their games...?
Honestly -- and hey, I like women, so it'd be as much a test for me as for you guys -- I dont find these character designs, or the outfits I should say, overly sexual or skimpy for the way Spira was portrayed in FFX. It seemed to me a more islandish world... go replay the game, and look at all the NPCs in the towns and crap.
Besides.. have you all completely forgotten Lulu's cleavage?
I dont think the outfits they design are anywhere near the top 5 marketing points. To me Rikku's outfit is fun (and the scarf, perplexing).. that enemy chick will suit perfectly into the role of the flirtacious bad girl with a switch-on taste for pain and suffering... and Yuna not wearing a long skirt allows her to climb shit easily.
Ren...
me neither O_o
maybe its just me
the more i look at the "new" rikku, the more it reminds me of christina aguleria
do anyone else see the same similarity?....Bakamitai....

/me counts down the seconds until one of the guys suggests that a Lady Marmalade parody video featuring the FFX-2 characters in gratuitous fan service boudoir scenes would be a really good idea...
