Kinda cool. What does everyone think?

WOW.. Seeing as I haven't played FFX yet, I dunno if I would wanna see the characters coming back. heh But the idea is great! I always wished the would do a sequel with the characters from FFVIII, but neah..
The fact that it's saving on rebuilding a new game engine and character set from scratch would be worth it alone, imo.

Hmmmmmmm.....I dunno. I haven't played FFX yet, but it just seems a bit weird for them to do a sequel to it. I mean, they've never done it before, have they? I would love to see them do more with FFVIII too, but that's never gonna happen.katyjag

If its a "prologue" then it is going to be stinkish.
If its a "sidestory" then its going to be stinkish.

The idea does sound pretty cool. I've seen much of the game, haven't finished it yet, but I think I'd like to continue seeing these characters later on. Except there's only so much new material they can introduce with the same game engine and character set. I am also one of those that would have liked a little bit more after FFVIII. Like BuMz said, BRING BACK RINOA!!! Every action has the potential to fill or empty one's heart...

And some people said FF8 was the lesser of the series ....

I dont think so. If they can bring a great story, im there. What im interested in is how there going to do the sphere board thing. Does everyone forget there skills or what? How long will Gaiden be?
