The footage DOES look good, but I did notice a few turn-offs in the clip. For one, the gaurd-rails around the cliff-top looked kinda cheap and gave the game a look of being very confined for the places that you can go, as it is with all of the FF Series. I was also kinda hoping that they would redo the battle system to be a little more like Parasite Eve, where you don't go into a whole different screen to fight the battle. I'm getting mighty tired of the old fading screen when I get in a battle encounter. Anyway, now I'm just waiting to hear what the game sounds like...ie the music and the voice effects/sound effects. It's too early yet to get a good feel for the FFX though....

That's some pretty awesome new footage!!! It even looks like some of the battles indeed are just like what I had hoped they might be....At least for the one bossfight it looks like Tidus goes right into it directly from gameplay without much of a fading screen. Nice Really Nice !

The whole 'summons' sie of things is a bit strange.. you can actually control the summon to some degree? so, more than one attack per summon I guess? hRmmZ..
But really, I was expecting just a LITTLE bit more with the graphics.. water effects could have been done better maybe I'm just too spoilt *cOuGH*JIM*cOugH*

A large amount of those clips are taken from a video cameras....BUT STILL! Man, that FMV of the beast guy dropping down....And the waterfall....wow....
