maybe... But its too soon to jump to that conclusion. I hope Square gives the demo to the press, so we can finally see some direct feed footage. There some streams at Gamespot, one of them shows a awesome greenish creature jumping out at Tidus and attacking him, he is easily the coolest FF character ever that I have seen.

From some of the clips I downloaded it does not seem the some animations have been finished. For example, one of the clips on IGN.COM has Tidus swimming away from a giant fish (one of my favorite clips) It seems he doesn't really look like he is in the water. Am I wrong? It seems like the demo they showed has Alpha written all over it. I really wont be satisfied by these clips until some "direct feeds" appear on the net.
