Just because I want to start an anime topic of conversation, who is your favourite anime character and why? For a bonus point, if he or she isn't already a villain, who's your favourite anime villain and why?

My favorite character is Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky, the 4th from Cowboy Bebop, because she's funny as hell, and has some sort of wierd mind link with Ein. My favorite villain, that's a toss-up between both Vincent and Vicious(also from Cowboy Bebop). Vincent, because he's a terrorist that has some of the coolest moves I've ever seen(that grapplers thing he did to Spike on the train, with the bloody fingertips. Oye.). Vicious because he's the only guy I know of(without some sort of shitty cosmic powers) that takes a knife to a gunfight. =P
Cant answer this now, maybe in a month or.. weeks.. I dunno... I'm too obsessed with a few Animes right now to really give a truthful answer ::nod::.

I'm still pretty biased towards Cowboy Bebop, but I'd definately say Spike is a favorite. Being a fan of HK action flicks (specifically the Woo/Fat ones) and other Bebop (and Spike's) influnences definately makes him a favorite. Keitero is also right behind him, mainly since I just feel sorry that no women at the inn understand him. ![]()
As for villian, I'd have to say Vicious, mainly since I havn't run into too many anime "villians" yet (can't really pick the Angels, or Lady Eboshi![]()
). Cool, evil, and he carries a sword. What more could you ask for? ![]()

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop or Saber Marionette J, so I don't know about them, but CB looks cool. Oh-Totoro is my favourite character ever, (come on, he's so cute and big and cuddly! ![]()

Well, she sort of turned out as a villain in the end, and that's what I liked, the fact that throughout the episodes you aren't sure if she's bad or not, then she turns out to be using literally everyone for her own gain. Hehe, that's even worse than being outright evil in the first place.![]()
