Nothing I have sean so far has come any where near the level of "Berserk." This is an awsome anime. If violence and brutality turn you off then stay away from this one, if not definately check it out. It has an amazing story and great animation.

Um, excuse me, but why on earth are all of you bashing Tenchi Muyo?! I happen to think it was a very cool series, certainly more decent than most of you a re painting it, with your "stay away!" and "nothing from CN!". What is this? Aren't we supposed to embrace all anime-kind for their incredible ingenuity, and not stab it in the back, when it cannot defend itself? Tenchi was all good in my view. I don't bash any anime just because I don't like it. I tell everyone out there: try every anime and judge FOR YOURSELF! Don't let anyone tell you what to think of animes until you have seen them yourself! Fight the oppresors!

i'm not bashing Tenchi Muyo in any way, i'm simply saying that cartoon network slaughters anime. I saw the ova Tenchi Muyo In Love (subbed, of course), that was alright.
i don't think cutting out 80% of all integral scenes, and english-dubbing anime counts as something that should be embraced.
and another thing, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. personally, i think mine should be heard. if you don't want to listen, so be it.
i still stand by my morals: stay away from cartoon network anime, shun all dubbed anime, watch only subtitled.
          So there's my US$0.02 :-)

I said Tenchi Muyo sucks because it falls way short from the better animes. Yes moonknights right cartoon net work did butcher it. yeah its ok but like i said it falls way too short from the best.

Hmm, I get your points about dubbed anime and all that, watching it how it should be seen is way better, but for some people (i.e. me, how did you guess? ) it's dubbed anime or nothing. Cartoon Network is the only place I've found any anime at all. Not much anime about in the UK. So, anyway, whilst subtitled (or just the original version if you can understand it) is better, I think dubbed versions are okay. Plus, lots of people get in to anime through more mainstream exposure like on CN. Maybe if more people get in to anime we can finally get more of it over here! Oh, and Tenchi Muyo is great. Dubbed anime is really the only way I can watch some of the shows, and even then not that many, so I don't see a problem with it. So what if CN butchers some of the shows? THAT is the only way I can watch it on TV, because the tapes and DVDs that I have seen are not in my possesion. I am glad that at least CN is showing a few shows for us anime lovers. And I do think that the shows on CN should be embraced no matter what...they are anime, after all. All animes should be treated equally.

all anime should not be treated equally. there's both sides of the spectrum, from the extremely good anime, to the utter pieces of poo out there.
i've seen so many different types of anime in my 10+ years of anime, so really, all anime just can't be treated equally.
i think dragonball and outlaw star is total crap. now, i understand that for some people, this is all they have. still, that doesn't change my standing on the butchered anime that cartoon network airs.

Yes, but at least its a START for some kids. Maybe some kid will get interested in whatever they air, and while fully exploring Anime later on, he'll see what he's been missing.
