SC can be a very technical game, miso. The thing is most everyone prefers to play the game a la button masher. I've seen some guys that play like they've been practicing, though. They can link different combos, change stances, and parry/repel attacks without breaking a sweat.
As for the Capcom game, it definately will be very weird, because they'd have to put all their fighters in the game and then some, like Jill Valentine and Megaman in MVC2...maybe Maximo and Dante can appear in it! *sarcasm*Every action has the potential to fill or empty one's heart...

Yeah, the whole series of SC games(SE included) are all really technical. I'm a moderately skilled player, and I beat button-mashing n00bs every single time.

I agree. SC is very technical because its a VERY 3d game.. theres sidestepping everywhere and very little jumping. compared to tekken the '3dness' is alot larger.. I've seen some pro matches at guard impact (guardimpact.com/) I'm pretty amazed by the timing and tactics they have. Due to the weapons having a large variety of lengths and lag, the players have to concentrate on tactics more than anything else, rather than just getting in a quick wgf and doing a 60% damage combo, ala tekken. anyways thats just my short analysis. visit red blog!
