so speaking of the accents, how come European accents are almost always perceive as a sexy attribute when Asian accents are associated with low class, uneducated and something you want to get rid of?
is that only true in the Asian community or is it universal (well, at least in North America?) B/c if some1 speaks with a heavy Asian accent, usually they r automatically looked down upon by those with less of an accent... So sad...
That aside, someone said my Chinese accent is "sexy" ...first time i got that, ever. Of course its from a non-Asian person.
and yeah, i don't sweat that much even in TX ...but I am programming right now, so maybe that has something to do with it ^-^ Hate the humidity though.

I think it may be that Asian accents tend to be more often accompanied by broken or distorted grammar due to the very different syntaxes of the languages, and the mixing of l's and r's may be seen as child-like.
              Either that or it's racism.
I dunno. I speak unaccented English, since I was raised here, but I know I sometimes cringe when my parents talk, which may be a socially-ingrained reaction.---

That is so weird, I've had Americans say I have a British accent.. why can't some Americans tell the difference?? The two are so insanely different from each other!MRk MRK n FnK Mz
