I suspect a lot of women would disagree with you on that one, Gest. And I'm not even a particularly soppy woman.
However, your second comment is entirely right. Asking someone to marry you is a really important committment, but a lot of people seem to forget that these days. (That's not necessarily meaning you btw, Thai, I don't want you to think that! ^_^;;; )
But anyway, Thai, I do actually wish you the best of luck if you do propose soon!

Do I have a girlfriend? No, and there's a number of reasons why. The primary reason is time and money. A number of my friends have had girlfriends and even without college/full-time jobs, they never had time or money. I'm not railing against girls, but I'm not willing to put up with the bullshit of alot of people my age, and alot of older women assume I'll be putting forth the forementioned bullshit.not allowed
