I had a bit of an annoying incident with my pc this afternoon and I'm wondering if anyone can explain it for me. I'd just got on to the internet and logged on to MSN Messenger to check my email. Then, I got this message box saying that I had successfully configured the hard drive for re-formatting and that I would have to re-install my operating system on restarting my computer. I panicked (as I usually do) and eventually restarted the pc. Nothing happened wrong at all. So far I haven't (*fingers crossed*) had anything wrong with the pc. Anyone think they can explain?

What got me though was that the message box that showed the message had Microsoft Internet Explorer written on its title box...reformatting wouldn't have anything to do with IE, I'd have guessed.
