Anime is cool .. but i dont get to see em very often .. only ones that rarely come on TV every now and then .. like Akira and some others .. and i was just wondering .. can you download good anime for free ? and if so - does it take a very long time .. like game demos and such appear to take .. ? for example - im downloading the Max Payne demo now on a 56k connection and it wont be done for another 10 hours .. i wont bother downloading anime if it would take longer then that .. and i imagine it would .. and i havnt seen any that look good at my local video store .. only weird .. monster .. raping .. pyscho stuff that i have no interest in.

if you're on a dialup, don't expect to find any downloadable anime. i have an extensive collection (close to 8 gigs right now), and average filesize is 150 MB.

Naw naw... if ya have patience, and you REALLY want to see some anime eps or flicks or something... you can always go get one of those sharing programs like gnutella, bearshare, morpheus.. etc etc.
Most episodes of anime series are 50MB in size, but the good ones will be larger obviously (better visual/sound). I'm actually downloading urotsukidoji right now... having a HELUVA time downloading it because this bloody whore of a user is doing something funky... first movie though, not the series (bugger...).
Movies are different.. an excellent movie can be upwards of 600MBx2... or it can be as small as 150MB. So, as long as you have patience, you can get whatcha want. Personally, I get irritated with the 600MBx2 ones... anime doesnt really need the extra boost there, if you want that much quality go buy it... but, well, anyway... (/rant)

i have so many places i can go to if i want anime.. hell if i'm willing to drive to los angeles, i can go to Anime Jungle's only US store (hehe). but since you aren't as blessed, yeah either import, or order stuff online
