The site is woring fine for me..
Every year for as long as I've heard of the Anime Expo it's been held in Anaheim, CA, which is eh something about 15 minutes from me, depending on traffic. For some odd reason, though, this year it's gonna be held at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA.
I'm definitely going, even if I have to mooch as much money as possible, even with my new found job, because this year marks the AX 10 year anniversary, and no doubt they're gonna do something special about it.

you've never been to an anime expo? i've been going to AX since AX95, and it's always been a blast! especially the year that evangelion came out, everyone was going NUTS!
go check out the AX site, www.anime-expo.org
at AX, they have different things. they have cosplay, anime viewings in different viewing rooms, and huge rooms that just hold booth after booth after booth of anime companies and stuff. you can buy anime and meet the people behind them and stuff, get autographs, etc.

Well if you're planning on going to AX2001, I suggest you go register now to save some money. I just sent in my registration form and payment yesterday. I wish i had the money sooner, though. I saved US$5 by registering before April 1st.
