If my tapes and handycam batteries hold out, I'll see if I can get stuff on tape, and then transferred onto some computer movie format. There's supposed to be a DDR competition (along with a bunch of other games, including dodge ball on the gba haha), and I really want to get that on tape. There's regular DDR, and the freestyle competition. The freestyle is what I want to get on tape because pictures just won't do it justice!
        So there's my US$0.02 :-)

i'll see what i can do.. although to get an autograph from the numerous guests of honor (check www.anime-expo.org for the guests of honor) usually means you need to buy something related to them, and I really don't have too much spending money.
go check out the list of the guests of honor, and tell me the one person whose autograph you would really like, and i'll see what i can do.

I attended anime expo last year at the Disneyland hotel and it was a love/hate experience. I LOVED it because of all the new anime I saw and liked. I discovered Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou and Card Captor Sakura (saw half the film, then saw the rest at home, LOVED IT, such an innocent little story, it can do no wrong, anyone who bears hatred towards little Sakura really needs to get a clue). I absolutely HATED it because of all the anime that is horrid peice of dog crap just waiting to melt your brain into a pile of stagnant goop. I swear. Before the Anime Expo I thought anime was the end all be all of entertainment and no anime could do wrong. But like all genres anime has its crap. And I had to sit through a lot of it. I fell asleep multiple times. Oh and I wasted a lot of money at the marketplace thing. I never regretted going though, I had great fun.

hehe yeah it's gonna be fun the first day.. until me and my friend nardo complain about walking for four hours straight.. the theatres are good crash space when you get tired, but don't sleep in there heh
                Quote:
Please note that the video theaters are not crash space, so anyone found sleeping in the rooms will be asked to leave and go to their hotel rooms.
yeah there is shitty anime.. one of them being trigun heh i like the character design, but i hate the character personality and stuff, especially vash. "ooh i'm good with a gun but i can't kill people because i'm a fag"
hmm one more thing, i don't know why, but it's being held in long beach this year instead of the anaheim convention center.. longer drive, but oh well.
it's gonna be a fun experience indeed.

i just saw one episode, i don't know if it was an especially shitty episode or something. it pretty much turned me off though. still, i like the character design, just not the actual anime itself. see, like in rurouni kenshin, himura has a real, legitimate reason why he can't ever use his sword to kill another person. in trigun though, "i'm good with a gun but i can't kill people because i'm a fag". i mean, he shoots an enemy in the leg, and he gets all freaked out and bandages it for him! i mean wtf?!
still, nothing is as cheesy as Assemble Insert.. oh man..
