Angel needs help with FFX (2nd sphere dungeon)

So, I finally got to start playing FFX. This game is GORGEOUS! And the battle system and leveling sphere...Neato! They finally got everything right! Except for one thing... Why is it that every time you wander into one of the Summoner temples, the game turns into Zelda? I'm sick. My brain is fried. I don't wanna play Zelda right now. I have Zelda. If I wanted to play Zelda, I would put in freaking Zelda and play it, but I don't! I just want to sit here and press a few buttons and be awed away by the eye candy...is that too much to ask?
So anyway, yours truly has made it to the second temple, where Lady Dona's big lug throws you into the next sphere puzzle dungeon. I'm stuck. I've made it to where you can get the Sphere of Destruction, but now what do I do? Are there some hidden pedestals I should be looking for or something? Thanks kiddiez.

Let's see if I can remember correctly...
Move the pedestal with a Kilika orb in it onto the shining dot. Something should happen. Take the Destruction Orb to the lower level and look for the sphere-shaped opening that appeared after the pedestal event, right beneath where the shining dot was. Just put it in and grab the Red Armlet that pops up, then put a Kilika orb into the door on the far side of the room and you're done!

I know the feeling, I missed the first Temple's treasure and only found out much later. I just got lucky in the Killika temple.

Heh, never mind, I'm just a dork... Didn't see the stairs the first time.
What's the treasure from the first temple? I accidently skipped that too...

do you know if it works like chrono trigger where you get a "new game +" feature where you can start a new game with your current characters and stuff?

It doesn't(I don't know why they haven't implemented that in an FF yet).
I saw an FFX commercial tonight, it actually incorporated in-game footage(battles and such).

Actually, you know those Al Bhed dictionaries? Well, I think that you can restart a game using a completed save and have those dictionaries, allowing you to understand what the Al Bhed are saying throughout the beginning of the game. I read that somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

There are things around(in Rin's shop for instance) that allow you to import the ones you've already found from another save or another card. It really doesn't go beyond that.

Its a rod of wisdom with some extra abilites added to it. I think, at least it had some differnt abilites when compared to other Rod of wisdoms that I got.
Uh, how is the 2nd cloister of trials have anything to do with Zelda?
