Bought this book today, "1000 Game Heroes". Really fun book. Very little text, but a fantastic sourcebook for character artwork from new games (very little at all on old ones, eg the Final Fantasy section only has images from FFX - it tends just to focus on the last incarnation of series.) Only a few notable exceptions (where's DMC and Onimusha or even Metroid?!) but there are some really cool finds in there (Klonoa artwork!!!![]()
). Quite expensive, especially since it was 20 in Borders this morning (![]()
:"> ) but a very pretty book anyway. Lacks substance somewhat, but it looks really pretty. Also incredibly up to date - things like Tekken 4 are in there. (It'd be great to see them release another volume of this next year.) Great coffee table book if you want to look like a nerd. ![]()
