I heard from my friend Mike (who is like a FF7 Master) said that Aeris CAN be revived in the New FF7 game. Sure it might be BS to your ears, but it can be the truth, you'll never know. on ps2.gn.com some writter dude said: "Various Japanese news sources have reported the Square has announced that the upcoming PlayStation 2 remakes of Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX will not be sold in a single collection, but will instead be sold separately. All three games will be released on DVD and will include special extras, plus visual and aural improvements over their PlayStation equivalents."
And I can't wait for the new FF7 game to come out cuz I'm tired of playing my friends scratched up old discs and beating the crap out of the game, while having Aeris revived (cuz of my friends Gameshark, that I am getting annoyed with cuz he's always forcing me to us it). Well anyways, when the PS2 Verison and I can revive Aeris ^.^.THAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

Ok, i was a big fan on trying to revive areis. There are MANY misconseptions about it though. Ok, first, unfortuneatly, there is NO way areis can be revived with out using a cheat and that only puts here in battle. How ever, what cases all this was areis was SUPPOSED to be revived. They had planned on it, squaresoft. bUt because of budget and time restraints, they released it SO unfinished. Some say that "Final Fantasy 7 International" was the compleated edition, but it is pretty tricky to get ones mits on. What you WOULD of done, the disk change ( i use the PC version since i got my ps1 AFTER i bough it) would of been a little further. After she died or right before, you get the key to sector 5 (witch if you wouldnt need to revive areis would not be there) and it is the basic of being nice. Now each story gets a lil iffy here. Maninly, you somehow need to retreave her body from the temple of the ancients and take it back to the church. How you get it? Some say if you beat the emeral and ruby weapon and keep all items, the girl there would say she saw the flower lady. Then you need to compleate a few activities and she comes back. So yes, in term Aeris SHOULD of been able to be revieved but because of problems with square, they had to remove it. Plus, there would of also been 2 endings for Yuffie and Vincent (cause we never see em in the ending). I may add more cause i havent played in a LONG time (be consentratin on FF9)! Oh and the deal about DVD and seeing her revied there? common, FF7 was out before DVD! LOLLOL

Cool atleast ONE person believes me, Jim says there's no way to revive Aeris. I heard the way to revive Aeris is that you need all four Huge Materia and then retrieve Aeris's body and the White Materia(the materia that fall out of her hair when she gets killed). Then, go to Ho-ho boy's(Red XIII grandfather) labatory and the White Materia will go in the middle of the four huge materia and they'll join as one and Aeris will be revived.THAT'S DISGUSTING !! Its not that I don't believe you...its just that I think (actually, I know) you're wrong. Until someone shows me some RAW video of them playing this, WITHOUT any kind of hack, cheat, or gameshark, I'll continue to believe (and know) that it can't be done.
A)There is no way for this to happen,
            B) It doesn't fit in with the story,
            C) Makes no sense at all (what would be the POINT of "reviving" Aerith)?
            D) Plus, seeing GREAT of a main character she was, if she was able to be "revived", you would've seen her in a second ending. Vincent and Yuffie weren't required to go through the game...but Aeris obviously was.

Jim, I WOULD send ya a video of Aeris being revived(which I would ), but since the game HASN'T been completely, or even started to be remade, it would be impossible unless I worked with them which I am not. Isn't it enough proof that their are TWO people are talking about Aeris CAN be revived?Knowing that you are probably to stubborn(and\or possibly to cowardly) to admit that your going to be wrong that the completed verion of FF7 is gonna show the whole thing. Cuz what would be the point of seeing Aeris in te church for a split second in the '97 verison. Plus, why else would Squaresoft be making a NEW FF7 game along with FF8 and FF9? Even if it doesn't fit in the story, it ALSO doesn't fit in the story that Aeris can be seen in the church only for a split second and that materia falls out of her hair and you can't retrieve it.
So how about this....we leave this conversation alone until the actual game is out and if Aeris is able to be revived, you must admit that you were wrong. If it is the other way around I and the others, who said Aersis could be revived, must admit I wrong. I will only go with that cuz I don't want to embarrase anyone cuz I'm not that type of person. Plus, if any written reviews are made, we post them.THAT'S DISGUSTING !! TAKE A SHOWER BABY !!!!

The game isn't being "remade" in the sense that you're talking or thinking of. For a REMAKE, they basically have to start all over again from the ground up (think of the movie The Thomas Crown Affair. The Steve McQueen version is the original, the Pierce Brosnan one is the remake. Or think of Star Wars:Special Edition. It is NOT a remake, even though things were added and changed). They're not doing that. They'll just fix a few things (HOPEFULLY some of the textures), remaster the FMVs, slap it on a disc, and make $50 for a game that currently sells for $20. Its more of a marketing thing than anything else.

"Isn't it enough proof that their are TWO people are talking about Aeris CAN be revived?"
I know hundreds (myself included) who think otherwise. Yes, there are others that say it can be done, but they're a SMALL minority, and usually they forget that they have their game shark plugged in.

"Knowing that you are probably to stubborn(and\or possibly to cowardly) to admit that your going to be wrong that the completed verion of FF7 is gonna show the whole thing."
Yes, I can be stubborn, but I'm rarely wrong. (Heh, I guess I'm also cocky at times ).

"Plus, why else would Squaresoft be making a NEW FF7 game along with FF8 and FF9?"
Once again, its more of clever business on Square's part than anything else. The only one who can market (and re-market) the smame things over and over again better than Squaresoft is George Lucas. Anyone with more than 3 boxed sets of Star Wars (on vhs and/or vcd and/or laserdisc) can agree with me.

"Even if it doesn't fit in the story, it ALSO doesn't fit in the story that Aeris can be seen in the church only for a split second and that materia falls out of her hair and you can't retrieve it."
Actually, it does make a lot of sense. Aeris is dead, and there could be dozens of explainations. Maybe Cloud is THINKING he sees her, maybe its the Mako screwing with his head. [Fight Club Spoiler]Tyler Durden pops up for one frame at least five times in Fight Club, but he doesn't exist outside of someone's mind[/Fight Club Spoiler]

"So how about this....we leave this conversation alone until the actual game is out and if Aeris is able to be revived, you must admit that you were wrong. If it is the other way around I and the others, who said Aersis could be revived, must admit I wrong."
Perfectly fine by me. Like I said, until I see someone actually do this (as well as seeing no cheat device or hack involved), acurately document it, seeing it redone following the same steps by others (including myself); I'm going to believe what I've already said.

If the mako is screwing up in Cloud's head how come those two kdis could seeher ?? Like that girl says "Where did the flower girl go?" And who the f***k is Tyler Durden??

Yes, where did she go? She used to be here, and now she's not! (read: She's dead). Tyler Durden was Brad Pitt's character in Fight Club who didn't exactly exist.

"I know millions (including myself) who believe that Aeris can be revived. But who the hell knows?"
                    Millions? I know of eight.
