So looks like Obama is going to win, eh?

www.intrade.com

My guess is that he will pick PORTMAN as his VP candidate. If he does so, that MIGHT give him Ohio, and we all know that OH is very important in the scheme of elections. (OH, PA, FL, VA, NC and a few other states are the ones that decide presidential races after all).

---Really that is his only shot... Portman as the VP candidate and maybe Romney gets Ohio. And assuming he can get FL and OH with Obama taking PA, then he does have a shot.

But in the end, I think Obama will win. D@mn, NUCC and others will have to be pissed off that Obama is going to get another 4 dang years in the white house! ---Doesn't matter really... Not as if Mitt Romney would know what the hell he was doing once in office either. USA is headed down the wrong path either way.

So my money is on Portman as the VP candidate at 4 to 1 odds, then I have decided to bet on Obama, not Romney, for the presidential win at near 2 to 1 odds. (8 to 1 payout if I get it all right, 500.00 put in will be 4,000.00 in the end.)

Romney/Portman, then Obama to defeat that combo. That is my prediction. Hey, if all the choices suck, and you can't do anything about it, then might as well make $$$$$ off of it. Nothing else one can do for now. -- PS. Hillary Clinton 2016 still on the plans as well.

There probably is little mention if any of this in the American Liberal rags but it's time to spread the FACTS.

Newsmax?  Hannity?  Boy, they have predicted 1,000 'events' and 'scandals' that were 'sure to bring Obama down'.. This is spin number 1,001?   (grin)...  It is wasted time to even discuss these minor details when the real issues at hand are being ignored (by both parties).  I already commented elsewhere on this, so not going to type it again.  I am not interested in playing stupid partisain 'hangman' games.

Phoenix — They came from all over the country, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, brought here in a bold new effort to shut down the flow of U.S. guns to Mexican drug cartels. It was called Operation Fast and Furious, after a popular movie about street car racing.

But from the beginning, much of the fury was inside the agency itself.

A congressional committee voted Wednesday to recommend that Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. be held in contempt after the Obama administration, citing executive privilege for the first time, refused to turn over documents pertaining to a botched gun-trafficking operation.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Mitt Romney attracting 47% of the vote, while President Obama earns 43%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and another five percent (5%) are undecided.

Rasmussen is closely tied to Fox, and you have indeed found a tainted poll that always leans to the right of what the actual numbers are... Until election day that is.

Rasmussen also had McCain leading Romney by a few points 4 years ago, but how did that pan out?

What do you know, on election day, Obama won by a massive number of delegates and over 10 Million popular votes.

I'd estimate it will be a lot closer race this time, but since Romney is as fake as Kerry was for the Dem's 8 years ago, the incumbent will probably win.

As for the rest of that "Eric holder" political scapegoat and partisain blamegame crap, I don't waste time with that kind of trivial nonsense.

N> Why don't you ask the American people? Is America better off today than they were BEFORE Obama became president? If they say NO then Obama will blame Bush and the stupid Liberals will agree. If they say yes then Obama will say thank you and proceed to raise your taxes.

"Why don't you ask the American people? Is America better off today than they were BEFORE Obama became president?"

Dow in 2008:  About 8,000.....    Dow in 2012:  About 13,000.  Looks like a YES in that regard to me.  (Remember also the dow was 10,000 in 2000 when Bush came in, and had a 20% drop over 8 years to about 8,000 at the time he left office).  I'll gladly take a more than 50% increase in my wealth that occurred in the last 4 years while Obama was in office as opposed to what I got the previous 8.

If you want to play partisain games, then look at these simple stats.

Here is NUCC during the presidential handoff in 2008... heh heh
