That's been listed for sale for a loooong time. Not sure it's still there. As I recall the owner was an elderly gentleman and could no longer handle the boating life. I think the marina told me there was some work needed but had been used until recently(meaning when it was advertised). I think if I were to decide to embark on a 23 restoration I'd lean toward one of these or an Overnighter. Just different enough to really turn some heads. Still one of my favorite lancers of all time.

It is unusual to see the inside of a cabin on a 23 like that, pretty cool little greenhouse and front cabin on that boat.

Regards,
Paul

If and when I graduate to a larger boat...that is the direction I want to go. Great proportions and still small enough to trailer...barely. Same reasons I like my little 17' actually.

Having said that, My parents are ex-pats in Cabo and I still a dream of fixing up a '28 and parking it down there. Next week will be my first trip to Cabo since the big hurricane. Looking forward to cruising the marinas...never see much in the way of Commanders and Lancers though.

Just got confirmation from the yard/marina that it is still there....I had seen this one when I picked up my 23 Express project.

This one seems to be mostly complete.
