Attention to detail up front like that, and in fact on the WHOLE job you are doing, really pays off. Much of your quality work is out of sight and just done to a high standard because that's the way you do things. Anything in front of your face, or the passenger's face, is about as high a visibility item as it gets on a boat, and it will say a LOT every time you take the boat out (even if you go by yourself, you'll have the satisfaction of seeing your quality work).

From time to time I try to do quality work, and sometimes I do, however, it's never complete or enough to make a finished product because there seems to always be SOMETHING not done. Anyone who can finish a total project has my great respect, and heck there are a lot of examples around here to look at, including yours.

regards,
Paul

Thank you Paul,

That made me feel so good hearing you say that, I always do my best, but sometimes I get so fixated on one thing and wont stop till it is as good as it can get, thats why its been 4 years restoring this boat, I keep going back over what I did already because while doing a certain part on the boat I come up with a revised Idea and Boom i just whent backward again, tell you the truth I enjoy it, not the sanding part thu, LOL I still have to sand/fair the awlgrip high build primer on the hull then hit it with 545 primer sand once again then paint, just waiting for the weather to cool before doing it, south Florida is very hot this month
