I'm sure many of you have seen this one before, it's been around awhile.
It is a great documentation of how a 23 inboard runs.

Great watching that sharp forward entry cut the water and those lifting strakes (sp?) doing their thing. Very nice...

When you look at the strakes, you can see the running attitude was pretty well established by the shape and position of the strakes. Also, pretty cool about, the faster the boat goes the higher out of the water it rises, reduced friction with less hull in the water, but still has that knifelike bow out there to inflict damage to oncoming waves.

Pretty sweet running hull, love it.

I've driven a variety of these, both with inboard, outdrive and v-drive. Same hull, different power delivery, and all slice the chop like a hot knife through butter. The 427 Lancer inboard project will make noise this coming season !!

Paul
