Hello all..... I am looking for suggestions for a "truck gun"...something I can just toss behind the truck seat, leave it there, and have handy if I'm out somewhere and decide to do a little plinking, or while out fishing to use for "snake control" or to take that squirrel for the cook pot...something I won't worry about if it picks up a few dings or scratches riding behind the seat...and I'm figureing a limit of about 50 bucks... I own several "more expencive" air rifles now, but none I'd want to "toss behind the truck seat"... For a budget limit of 50 bucks, can you offer me any suggestions on a decent, acceptably accurate and powerful rifle, caliber, and where to get the best price on it? ..... I want something I can take out of the box, clean, and use, and not have to work on first... I'm sure enough open to suggestions.
.......... Thank You...and I appreciate any information you could give.

I'd have to go with the QB 57 or QB88 neither one will let you down in the accuracy dept.
They have a wonderful trigger and will both be getting numbers above the 700 fps mark necessary for a humane kill with the right head shot. ie; accuracy.
the 88 is on sale for $49 @ South Summit,

And the 57 is $55,

But don't discount the KL-3B @ $35 is a steal considering its 700 fps it just doesn't have the wonderful trigger the QB's have.

Just my opinion. good luck.

If I am not mistaken, isn't the KL-3B the one they call the "Fast Deer" ? ... Actually, that was the one I first considered, but after checking around I found that while many people were pleased with theirs, many people seemed to have a problem with "barrel-droop" on this rifle... Is that a common problem, and something I need to concern myself with ? ... Not long ago I bought a rifle stamped "WESTLAKE", that I had seen mentioned in another forum, but the accuracy left me again looking for a "beater-gun"....... But I do appreciate the information about the QB's... and I will definately check into them. In fact, one of those you mentioned will very possibly be my chioce... Again, Thank You.
