I was so busy switching recording from one nest to the next, I didn't have time to post.

It was all so fabulous to watch, from the foggy, firey glow of WE, to the close up of Cruz in the bushes on FP, then back to WE for a close up of K-91...and then the nestorations when K-01 flew in....and, of course, A-48's evening arrival on SC.

I just hope my leg & shoulder hold up long enough to do something with it all.

p.s. Jo, I also love the way Cruz holds her leg out.

p.s.s. Thank you, Jo & Pat & Maria, for all you did today! You're the best!

FP 6.50
A64 has been making himself pretty for some time now. A49 sleeps, both feet on the perch

6.55
A64 preens his tail in A49s face. She sleeps, he leans over and goes "nana na nana na" at her

6.58
Then he shakes out his feathers for a rude awakening for her. She just goes back to sleep

7.00
He goes to sleep, then watches to the left

WE -

Golden sunset in the fog was breathtaking...especially with an eagle on the nest!

Loved the zoom in on K-91 on the rock!

K-01 arrives with fluff...

...and the camera zooms in on them working on the nest.

p.s. Please excuse the larger than usual captures.
The impact of the larger photo was just too awesome to reduce.

FP - Zoom in on Cruz playing "peek-a-boo" in the gnarly branches to the left of the nest....

The golden glow of the sunset just added to it!

Hey....where'd the sun go?

Then down to the nest for a little nestkeeping.

And to the branch...

Spirit finally shows up....

Spirit preens his feathers in Cruz's face....again!

Cruz answers with her normal dangling foot.

TH2 - Dr. Sharpe's answer to a question about the size of the nest compared to their old nest.

"I've never been in the TH2 nest, but I would guess it is 3 feet across. TH1 might be about 4-5 feet across."
