Trail look fun, but I may hurt myself, bridge crossing looks a good way to annoy the walkers
If it aint sharp I can play with it

good find monty:)
not much of a rider on the yam is he?

i know where the first one is upbeyond Barmouth. they ride it north to south, the last bit at southern end is a bridleway. i've been at it from that end.
the north end has uncertain status. some 4x4 friends drove as far as the packhorse bridge, but it was too narrow, apart from a series1 Landy :D
so they drove a bit further until the stone slabs where the yam goes in upside down
nice to see its all rideable and by the number of ruts, well used
looking at the map i've worked out a way to miss the bridleway ending and turn it into a great loop B)

this one is Bomber Lane & Happy Valley near there, i've done it on the R30 :)

did this one the opposite way on the R30 too B)

i ride the R30 up there (2hrs) from home as the roads are great, do a lane or two, then cane it back again on the twisties
its too long a ride on knobblies for me, still 1.5hrs from rhayader
theres some other good uns up there

maybe we need a night up there, as i want to get back up there

Hi Monty,

Did you ever work out a route that was legal?
Booked on a day out with RM trail riding in October, looking forward to it very much.
Trying for some practice beforehand.

Cheers
