Hello, All;

Well, with the imminent arrival of 'Cars 3', I am going to need more storage space, so I broke down and ordered another drafting file cabinet for the collection.  The first one arrived damaged and I had to refuse delivery -- the second try arrived today and I got it set up.

I'm an opener, so the drawers work pretty well for me.  Here's an overall view of the "Cars Corner" of the basement (the doorway leads to the shop area):

The top drawer is nothing but McQueen and Mater territory:

One can never have too many Tractors!

Also that level of organization. Is a thing of beauty to my OCD part of me.

Right now I've just placed the old filled drawers in order into the new stack of cabinets -- 'Cars' in the top 5.5 drawers, 'Cars 2' and the rest in the next 4.5 drawers. 'Cars 3' starts drawer 11.  I intend to slowly go through each drawer and re-organize, and add a small slip of paper under each, naming the car (though I'm surprised how many of the names I just know from memory).  Not only that, the cars in each drawer are roughly laid out in the order that you see them in each film.  Thus, Leland Turbo is the first car for Cars 2 ... and so on.

Organization is one of my family's traits, my library is equally organized.

Overall, the entire 'Cars/Cars 2/Toons/Storytellers/Planes/Planes 2/Cars 3' amount stands at 1122 with about 45 actual duplicates, and about 120 multiples (example, I have six Caretaka, twelve Casino Pitties, etc.).

Updating today, having just received the Precision Series Cozy Cone and the new Deluxe Roscoe.

The 1:55 scale total stands at 1255 total Cars, in 979 unique body, sculpt, or paint variations.

Since they remade Roscoe larger, I wonder if we'll see Arvy and Dr. Damage also made larger?

I have a couple of those plastic totes, roughly 24" x 18" x 6", that fit stacked underneath a coffee table.  The trouble is, they're now full too.
