Just on time to watch the Rangers score, 5:08 into the game, on a deflection in front.

Johansson's line was deep into the offensive zone, they lost the puck, quick counter-attack by all the Rangers, Shattenkirk and Schmidt got overwhelmed.

Carlson to the box, Rangers on the PP.

Rangers hit iron twice, and it's killed.

Wow, Shattenkirk created a good opening with a long pass, can't believe the second-liners were unable to take a good shot in this situation with their talent. They were all around the net but not aggressive enough.

Ovechkin muscles his way in front of the net for a chance, but Lundqvist makes the save.

He stays on the ice for the last seconds of the period. Almost another chance.

First intermission, 1-0 Rangers.

Caps are waking up. I may be doing the opposite, going to sleep, though, LOL.

Not watching. Just checked the game summary: there was a fight between Winnik and Clendening, and 21 seconds later, Johansson scored his 20th of the season, tying his record established in 82 games in 2015-16. Assists: Orlov and Kuznetsov.

1-1.

And now Connolly! 2-1! From Niskanen and Eller.

Shots were 11-8 Rangers in the first period, they're 17-8 Caps in the second so far.

2-1 Caps end second.

Total shots: 27-20 Caps. Total attempts: 47-35 Caps.

Ovechkin has 7 attempts (3 on goal, 3 blocked, 1 missed) and 6 hits!

Shattenkirk has 4 shots on goal and one missed. He played on the first PP unit (Niskanen on the second one). All d-men are getting similar time of ice.

Johansson beats his season record with his 21st goal!

3-1 Caps.

Assists: Kuznetsov and Niskanen, who already had one in this game (on different goals). Niskanen is +3.
