I read the Peerless's prognostication today. Very interesting.

I've also temporarily fixed the problem with the banner and buttons of this forum.

Your link works, 1-0 Penguins after about 10 minutes.

Stephenson with a breakaway, Murray makes the save!

On the rebound, Eller shoots a Penguin into the net instead of the puck (he was probably trying to play the old 'bat a penguin' game).

Got tied up, game on, Pens ahead 1-0 already at 14:15 left 1st... whoever was ragging the refs for their anti-Cap biases, you owe them one after that call...

even up call... Caps are showing some real effort but no results yet... 9:15 big shot and post 1 Pens 0... Holtby had no chance, was flat on his back reacting to it...

6:43 tremendous chance for the Caps, nothing- I'm telling you, they're doing everything but putting it in...

2-0 on the turnover, there- Djoos gets the young D error card redeemed.

Oh my, Djoos with a bad pass to Carlson, intercepted by Hagelin, goal! 2-0 Pens. Same as last game, but with a better goalie and team in front.

Wow, Oshie battling in front of the net... On the replay, it was clear he was close to get a great chance.

Not the first time I make that typo.

One fourth of the penalty killed. The rest after the intermission.

2-1 Pens. Actually already better than last game. Also, they play very well.

Stats after 1:

SOGs 13-12 Pens lots of quality both ways
Attempts 22-21 Pens
Blocks 7-2 Pens lots of in close Caps shots
Hits 17-11 Caps
Takes 4-3 Caps
Gives 5-2 Pens but that Djoos' one- dang...
Faceoffs 53% Caps (9-8)

Everything but put it in, and Ovie at the end- don't count the Caps out tonight. They kill this penalty, they might walk away with this.

We used to have a 'Return to Home Page' button here, I believe? I'll see if I can fix that.

It was actually 'Return to Index'. I tried to put it back, but the system doesn't take it. They have bugs. Anyway, this forum will be moved to Tapatalk, and I'll probably have to make adjustments.

Hornqvist scores on the PP, 3-1 Pens.

Pens not happy with the goal, they're playing harder, and they even hit some iron! Caps still showing good things, though.

For the second time tonight. Post 2 Pens 0...

makes me think the hockey gods are on the Caps' side tonight. Just too much Pens lead but the Caps don't die going on...

Holtby again! And again!

Pens are a high-scoring team, at times. Caps must score more, that's all.

According to the Peerless, Pens are first in the league on the power play, and... 29th five-on-five.

Caps kill a penalty (Wilson), and get a chance in front of Murray. Joe B. says it was Wilson, but it was Smith-Pelly. All lines are playing well, tonight.

Oshie to the box (locker room for now) for cross-checking and Letang for roughing. I thought the hit was legal, but anyway, it was better to send both to the box.

End of the second period, 3-3.

When he's on, he's still the best in the world.

Backstrom to the box for high-sticking. No blood, fortunately.

Caps in a hurry to score, too many turnovers.

6-4 Pens.

Too many risky passes by the Caps.

A Cap was clearly taken down, to me, in the last seconds of the penalty, but no call.

Back to even strength.

Malkin and Orlov hit the boards, Orlov is a little dizzy.

And now Burakovsky takes a blow to the face but no call.

Inches making this game.

Caps have played very well, just one of those games.

Until this. Hope Orlov is ok.

Pens looking good on the PK. They touch the puck way more than they should, and they even got a great short-handed chance.

Killed, and there's too little left.

It's over. Interesting game. Pens looked better than I thought they were, but still, the Caps had a good game, except for the third period.
