Looks like I don't have a stream tonight... was looking forward to seeing Matthews play.

Back-to-back excuse?

Hehe, possible. I think it should be possible to avoid back-to-back games, especially because sometimes they don't play for 4 days. Can't their computers do a better job? :D

Leafs hit the post.

Great attempt between his legs by van Riemsdyk, he hit the post too. Holtby was largely beaten.

Williams to the box for high sticking. Not the best first period we've seen, so far.

Yeah, pretty good if they get out of this only down 1.

The Caps looked so good on this penalty, that I forgot they were short-handed. They're better now.

End of the first period.

With the two posts and Holtby's quick save, it could have been 4-0. Fortunately, it's only 1-0, so let's forget about this period and start playing for good in the next one, hehe.

Alzner to the box for holding. I think he really held the guy AFTER the guy passed the goal line, but anyway, another penalty to kill.

And that didn't get killed. 2-0 Toronto.
