Too bad Oshie missed his shot, they didn't expect it, it seems.

Ovechkin's shot, they expected it, blocked by the goalie.

Kuznetsov tries his chance alone, denied!

On Oshie's second chance, they were expecting it too and they blocked his stick, I think.

Back to even strength.

Caps didn't only "take away home ice advantage" like they said. They stole it. They only have to win their 3 home games to win this series 4-2, without even facing elimination. That's even better than the home ice advantage that the Bolts had when the series started.

Kempny to the box.

Tripping penalty against the Bolts.

It's actually the goalie who tripped Burakovsky, it could have been bad for Bura, he hit the boards hard.

And wow!!! Caps score in a few secs!

It's the goalie who sent it into the net, on a shot by Kuznetsov, under pressure by Eller.

Wow! There was about 2.5 seconds left.

By the way, I believe the penalty started with 8.2 seconds, although it had been whistled with about 10 seconds left. I don't think they had adjusted the clock.

I guess when the PP started, the Bolts were thinking: "Crap, we'll have to start the third period with almost two minutes on the PK." No, you won't, men, you won't. :D

I think it all started with Ovechkin's PPG off the faceoff in Game 1. Since then, the Caps showed they were able to hurt their opponents with monster goals.

Vasilevskiy has given up 8 goals in 4 periods of hockey. That's a 6.0 GAA. He may be gone again for the third period.
