The BBC revealed on Wednesday that there are multiple intelligence sources alleging Russia is in possession of potentially embarrassing or compromising material regarding President-elect Donald Trump. Formerly, only a single source was known to have been aware of the alleged material.

"I saw the report, compiled by the former British intelligence officer, back in October," Correspondent Paul Wood said. "He is not, and this is the crucial thing, the only source for this.” The Wall Street Journal alleges the British source is Christopher Steele, a director of the London-based Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd.
A member of the U.S. intelligence community also told Wood that "at least one East European intelligence service was aware 'that the Russians had kompromat or compromising material on Mr. Trump,'" Raw Story reports. Wood said that he "got a message back" from the U.S. intelligence community member and that there is reportedly "more than one tape, not just video, but audio as well, on more than one date, in more than one place, in both Moscow and St. Petersburg."

Wood did add, however, that "nobody should believe something just because an intelligence agent says it."

Know that the BBC (being publicly owned and funded) is subject to some very strict regulation on impartiality and bias, and there are very serious consequences to them lying. So, while they can still get things wrong, I'm far more inclined to believe them vs. any other media outlet in the world... including much of the UK press (which is owned by Murdoch, just like much of the US media).
Crickets around here lately.   So what do you all think now ?  Is the Trump Russia collusion a big hoax or not? Some very dirty stuff was going on at the DNC/Clinton camp with the help of DOJ/FBI.

what did Rush tell you the truth is stan?

why not read for yourself?

if Democrats were attacking the FBI and the Justice department, how would you feel about it?

what do you suppose the ratio of Republican voters to Democratic voters in the average law enforcement group is? I would conservatively say it is 60 percent Republican, but because your conspiracy theory news sources say there is a leftist cabal after trumpski, you swallow it without thinking.

Anyone stupid enough to support the treasonous and disgusting Trump is stupid enough to believe the treasonous and disgusting lies being spewed by the treasonous and disgusting Republicans, and nothing you can say will change the mind of someone stupid enough to believe it.

5) The Page FISA application also mentions information regarding fellow Trump campaign advisor George Papadopoulos, but there is no evidence of any cooperation or conspiracy between Page and Papadopoulos. The Papadopoulos information triggered the opening of an FBI counterintelligence investigation in late July 2016 by FBI agent Pete Strzok. Strzok was reassigned by the Special Counsel’s Office to FBI Human Resources for improper text messages with his mistress, FBI Attorney Lisa Page (no known relation to Carter Page), where they both demonstrated a clear bias against Trump and in favor of Clinton, Whom Strzok had also investigated. The Strzok/Lisa Page texts also reflect extensive discussions about the investigation, orchestrating leaks to the media, and include a meeting with Deputy Director McCabe to discuss an “insurance” policy against President Trump’s election.

SO the FBI opened an investigation into the trumpski campaign long before the FISA warrants were written

Aside from the increasingly callous editorials, the letters to the editor in the WSJ are some of the saddest, greediest thoughts about the value of other humans that I have seen.  I read it most days for the business and financial news which is presented in a pretty factual manner but the LTEs and editorials are just sad.

For those of you who are interested in Mueller's investigation, here is one summary of what is going on as it quietly picks up steam.  I am whipping through the Oscar-nominated movies and will be ready for the big show when it starts...

Lord Donald "Bonespur" Feltersnatch wants one of these events in Washington.

What do you think? Yea or nay?

Oh FC...I hope this gets nixed fast.  I really don't want to have to go down to D.C. and chain myself to a tank.  Thankfully I have had Nonviolent Direct Action Training.

He was a guest at last year's Bastille Day parade and now he wants one of his own, but bigger.  What's the big deal?  Any fourteen-year-old boy would say the same, so his idea is entirely in character.  -- peregrine
