I think he made a mistake there. Older pictures of him are more flattering. I suspect the pressures of running the free world like a casino are telling on him.

Yes...and when you wish Mitt Romney ran in 2016.  These times are a bit too interesting.

Two years ago it was said that GWB was supporting Trump for president, so he (Bush) would lose the stigma of being the worst president ever.  Well, he was right.  He isn't any more -- peregrine

I don't believe GWB endorsed or supported Trump. In fact, wasn't there a bit of a kerfluffle when Bushes 41 & 43 announced they would not vote for such a dick?

As dumb as W was, at least he was smart enough to figure out what a disaster Trump would be if elected.

But it was said.  As I just said.  That doesn't mean that there was any truth in what people said.  -- peregrine

I don’t think so. Jeb Bush was always eyeing a run and a previous endorsement by either former presidents would have been big news. Besides, I doubt Bush considers his presidency a failure.

I'm merely reporting what people said.  I'm not interested in an argument about what he actually did, let alone whether that made sense what he did, or did not. -- peregrine

What people? I don’t recall ever seeing any reports like that. I be very interested to understand where you saw this report.

it's too long ago.  things have not turned out they way we thought two years go, and what was a joke then, is apparently now not even  a memory.  At least GWB is off the hook.  His reputation is saved.  -- peregrine

Well this seems different!

Even weirder: A CNN poll earlier today had Moore ahead by a 9-point margin.

Pigs really do fly, I guess, when CNN reports the expected Fox "News" pre-determined conclusion, and Fox doesn't.

All you ever wanted to know about Alabama polls.  I stopped believing them long ago, though I've been following them.

A very slick move by the Moore campaign
last night in Alabama, reaching out to the
non-Christian community!

How about Lord Feltersnatch's tweet this morning?

Sounds like Kristen Gillibrand offered to "service" the disgusting one for a campaign contribution!

Even if true, which seems wildly unlikely, it is really, really dumb for him to tweet it.

This isn't good news for us...The Chicago Tribune reports that Trump may be paving the way for oil drilling off the Atlantic coast.
