Thanks, they're only $11 at the fair..I got a couple for $8 each, and then 3 more people decided to go.

Must be a costly enterprise, they deserve to at least break even. I do not know many people who work for nothing and I am sure most of us don't.

This past Tuesday was Military Day which allowed all active duty military folks AND their immediate family to sneak in. I'll bet this could still be arranged,

I park in the 97 lot which has a pay station and is in the NE sector. But what ever the ticket price ;on affordable years) the horse show, the pig races and the 4H exhibits are worth the price.

A friend from Iowa was ecstatic about going to the fair in the years she was stationed here in the Air Force - it was s little bit of home that meant a lot to see.

Thanks Ellie for posting - I sometimes miss the dates.
