Why are there no holiday lights on the trees? It looks bland and boring down there.

Re: Election Chat

Regardless of whether you agreed with Amanda or not, what a disgustingly sad commentary that ANYONE felt the need to hold her brother responsible for something he had nothing to do with.

What a sad loss for Gloucester to not have him on the Council going forth.

Re: Gloucester Election Debates

Sclafani doesn't hold a candle to Dan Ruberti. Dan loved his city, Sclafani hates everyone.

As one who believes everyone has a right to be on the ballot and always signs nomination papers, I can honestly say I will never sign Sclafani's.

Re: Heads need to roll!

I had already decided the other day NOT TO MARK MY BALLOT FOR MY WARD COUNCILLOR - upon noticing my ward councillor's endorsement of Steven Orlando, brother of Amanda Orlando Kesterson, his campaign chair. IMO AOK not only upset the commerce of the city of Gloucester - but an elementary school as w...

Re: Heads need to roll!

To the editor: I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Joe Orlando for re-election to Gloucester’s City Council at large. As the councilor for Ward 5, it is important to me to have at-large councilors who are sensitive to the needs of the residents of this ward, like issues with sidewalks, snow rem...

Re: Heads need to roll!

Show me where I ever wished him dead, put his name on a tombstone, or had anything to say about him other than politically. No, I didn't agree with much he did, but disagreeing is a whole lot different than this -- from either party.

Re: Heads need to roll!

Of course it's not right. NO child, anywhere, should be taught that it's OK to want those you disagree with dead, or to disrespect the office of the President, regardless of who holds it.

Re: Heads need to roll!

This is the letter Joe wrote several days ago (for all who haven't bothered to do their own homework and, instead, want me to do it for theim.) Joe is a heck of a young man, and an outstanding, dedicated councilor. If people are so childish as to blame him for something he had nothing to do with, I ...

If that Gillnetter opinion piece isn't proof of what the schools teach, I don't know what is. What a bunch of claptrap from a young person who has obviously had her head filled with the lies of the Left.

She has absolutely nothing to apologize for, Jay. Nothing. Put the blame where it belongs, which is with the parents who thought Trump bashing was a good idea at a school function, with the principal who neglected to do her job, and the person who actually made the phone call to the media. None of t...

Re: Heads need to roll!

Len, there ARE rules in the school handbooks about this very thing. It was not enforced by the one person in attendance that night that COULD and SHOULD have enforced it. Even after being alerted to the complaints about it, she CHOSE to ignore it. I'm sure Liberal arrogance is the most likely cause ...
