Jesus Christ, you can be obtuse. What "harmful chemicals"?!  Nothing is added to cannabis....unlike cigarettes which are laden with toxic additives. (Tar is not a "chemical", btw.) And you are trying to say that the increased cost is why cannabis smokers will inhale less Tar?!?! Snopes didn't say it...because it is a cretinous idea!
Did you not absorb what I wrote: that NOBODY ALIVE can smoke as much cannabis as an habitual cigarette smoker does over a lifetime, ergo the tar issue is a non-starter!?

Nobody has died of lung cancer or emphysema from simply smoking cannabis. Get a grip. Stop. Just stop.

EDIT: I just saw your post above. Deliberate humour? I don't buy it.
Excellent retort!

Dun, ever since this thread was created, you have been looking high and low for a non-existent smoking gun to delegtimize all of the progress we have made in Marijuana Legalization. Why?

You can hate it all you want, just stop standing in the way of progress by fear mongering and spreading false information. We can't keep it illegal just because it smells!

So should we make everything that smells bad illegal? And yes, legalization is long overdue and what the States have done in the past few years is progress in sane peoples eyes.

We once had the De-Hy plant, sane people complained and it got shut down!
In the last few weeks I got behind drivers who was smoking pot( illegal) and I had to close the windows because it was stinking up my new truck. But for some strange reason both times I got the munchies soon after!

Only "skunk weed" smells that way, Dun.  You should get yourself into a good dispensary sometime and get edumacated.

Dun, that skunk smell comes from the Terpene Myrcene. Myrcene is also found in hops, so do you think we should ban beer too?

"Facing criticism from Gov. Charlie Baker and others, state marijuana regulators voted today to scrap home delivery and pot cafe licensing for now, with the promise to revisit regulations for the controversial proposals by early next year."

Whatever it takes to just bloody get on with it, and for everybody to see that the sky will not actually fall.

Any further than it did when MA sanctified same sex marriage. Remember all the squawking back then?!?!  Turds.

Add a 5 cent bottle deposit on nip bottles. I think Maine tried to do so, but the Governor vetoed it.

Fireball is nasty by the way. I don't understand why so many people like it. Irish Whiskey for me!

I noticed that a few weeks ago, some of my favorite photo places I'm seeing Fireball nip bottles! Must be a new fad. I picked up 4 of them and threw them in the barrel by the GHB footbridge only to find 3 more a few days later!!!

I have kind of dropped out of this issue due to overload but ...

"ROCKPORT — Residents will soon decide on whether or not they want recreational pot sold in a historically dry town.
Locals can become better informed about how recreational marijuana establishments might impact the town at an informational session, organized by the Board of Health, Police Department, and the Planning Board, on Tuesday, April 3, at the Rockport High School's Lane Performing Arts Center from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
A panel will include Rockport Police Chief John Horvath and Board of Health members Dr. Syd Wedmore, Marybeth Murphy, Dr. Bruce Cohen and Dr. Sydney Jimenez. "

Dr. Bruce Cohen sounds like a sound mind and I'm glad he's on the panel. Unfortunately, though, Rockport is probably going to vote in favor of a ban.

I have never spoken with Dr. Cohen about pot but he is very sound on any other local issue I have discussed with him!  Very bright and community-oriented person.

Gloucester Planning board Meeting - Thursday April 5 at 6:00 pm at Kyrouz.  Informal discussion of recreational marijuana retail shop zoning.

I don't think I can make this but would be curious to hear reports back if anyone goes.
