The extreme is New York diners. Tons of choices, food is out in a flash and entirely satisfying. $$

Then the Paprika Grill, small simple menu with sometimes a special. His falafel is the best. Wraps, salads gyro, lamb, beef, shrimp, chicken - all grilled, $

The Happy Belly had FRESH ROAST coffee/iced coffee and pastry which was from the pastry chef in Browns Mall. That’s as I got on the menu. The pastries were right at the take out register. $$

So I hear Katrina's is closing. Is it just for the season or permanently?

Sounds like they are closing for good.  I haven't been for a while - I thought it had become a pretty good local music scene.  The Singer-Songwriter Challenges were fun.  I liked it like I liked Giuseppe's, though not quite as much but for the same reasons - small, intimate, good music. I really miss Giuseppe's - you never knew who would show up and join the final set of a performer or group.  And I am so very much a fan of piano bars.  :-)

Katrina's started off pretty good. Decent food and a nice clean atmosphere. However the place followed the same trajectory as the owners/managers spiraling slowly into chaos.

I heard Dogbar is moving in there. And Gatteneri wants to put a cigar bar in the old House of Mitch.

Looks like another one bites the dust in Rockport. The phone for Seaside Pizzeria is no longer in service. Just went by there and the place is locked up and all the furniture has been cleared out.

It would be nice if a place that served pizza and panninis went in there or the old Studio Crepe location.
