Since the election I have not been involved with Our Revolution other than as a member of the Facebook group.  I've opted for other involvement in our political process.  However I give them huge props for what they accomplished at the Mass Democratic Party Convention.  They and other progressives got all of this added to the platform...

1. Ranked-Choice Voting
2. Abolishing Super Delegates
3. A election day holiday to increase voter turnout
4. Clear training and consequences against Police brutality.
5. Forgiving Student Debt.
6. Democratic candidates no longer accept money from fossil fuel companies.

Thanks for the list Karly. Our Revolution got off to a bad start and there was leadership problems. It was wrong to keep Jeff Weaver after the primary. I am still turned way off by Bernie/Weaver book getting $27!!!! Why not a $3 booklet and a free pamphlet and also looking back at the 2016 DNC. But I agree, FORWARD PROGRESSIVE after all HRC might be POTUS soon. The craziest is yet to begin ... This Thursday ... STAY TUNED.

Bernie is going back on the road for healthcare... "So this week, I am going back on the road to visit states where there are Republican Senators who can and should vote to stop this moral abomination. I will be in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia on Saturday and Sunday. I will be talking about how unspeakable it would be to throw millions of people off of health insurance and in the same bill give tax breaks to the rich and multinational corporations. We will share the stories of people who will be impacted by this bill."

I miss the early, hope-filled days of campaigning for Bernie.  We could not be much farther away from that hope in our country now.

I am looking forward to the 2020 election if we make it that far.  NH town meetings, some fresh new candidates, maybe some inspiring old candidates like Bernie and hope.

Bernie continuing to talk about the issues we are facing here.  Robert Reich also talked about his travels during the 2016 elections to places in the country where the only 2 candidates being considered were Bernie and Trump because they would change things up.  Well...I guess Trump has.  Let's hope for better change in the next election.I am glad Bernie is continuing to address real issues even during Trump's farce of a Presidency.

"Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) plans to hold a live, televised town hall on March 19 devoted to exploring the issue of economic inequality.

The town hall, called “Inequality in America: The Rise of Oligarchy and Collapse of the Middle Class,” will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm ET before a live audience in the auditorium of the U.S. Capitol. It will be broadcast online with the help of the event’s digital media partners, The Guardian, NowThis, The Young Turks and Act.tv.

Feeling some nostalgia for the early days of Bernie's campaign.  I'm getting rid of a lot of old stuff and came across a bunch of Bernie campaign items that I was clearly not able to dump at the time.  All the Gloucester Ward canvass packets including who logged each one in and out!  Some of my good friends on that list.  Some of those Birdie stickers, campaign leaflets.  I gave away all the red bumper stickers...those were rare and we only got some because one of our group drove up to VT and brought them back.  What a year that was!

What I like best is that donations were not able to buy the seat. We need that nationally.

Tonight at 7...CEOs vs workers...

"Sen. Bernie Sanders has invited CEOs and workers from five major corporations — Amazon, Disney, McDonald's, Walmart and American Airlines — to hold a conversation on corporate power in America and how to move forward to create an economy that works for all people, not just a few at the top. The town hall is presented in partnership with digital media outlets act.tv, Good Jobs Nation, NowThis, TYT Network, Guardian US, ATTN:, Free Speech TV, The Nation Magazine, CREDO Mobile and MoveOn."
