I don't recall ever hearing that Ed was being considered for a District Court judgeship, but from what this report indicates, his appointment is delayed as the battle lines are drawn between the Governor's Council and the Bar.

The article mentions Terrence Kennedy as a member of the Governor's Council and I thought, "I know that name from somewhere, and not the Governor's Council."   Campanello's lawyer ...

These meetings should not be secret.  If you want to harm someone's career and are given that level of power, you should have to stand up and do it under your own name publicly.  This isn't a case of a whistleblower.  This is a group given very important public responsibility.
