I think is starts with brain chemistry that effects libido.  More powerful people need to moderate their libido - it probably helps with anyone who has a libido problem to know what’s going on inside them and to avoid any form of harrassment or abuse.
Are you saying that if you are not a predator you are a nobody?

I suppose that is the case among orcas.

“Married orcas” probably communicate their libido better than some couples.

Garrison Keillor just got let go from PBS.

When studying Cognitive Psychology the 3 Kennedy brothers were classical examples of bad abusive orcas.

And the awful human parade reaches Gloucester in the form of playwright Israel Horovitz...

Not a surprise, he's a pompous jackass. His own son knows the deal.

What's infuriating is that this is rather old news and wasn't attended to then.

Bill Marx has republished his investigative articles about Horovitz that were originally published in The Boston Phoenix in 1993.  Interestingly, he republished them about four weeks ago in light of the recent charges of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry - before the current Horovitz story broke.

I was very casually acquainted with Horovitz's first wife back in the 70s.  The sister of my then best friend married the brother of Horovitz's first wife.  They were married for a brief time 1959-1960, had a daughter and the marriage was annulled.  I don't remember any specifics, just that there were no kind words spoken about him.

The Cape Ann/North Shore chapter of the National Organization for Women wrote an LTE at the time that was right on point.

AsaaaAAaaooioOOOooooOOOH!

That explains the West End Theatre a tad bit.

He should have changed in 1984. I know him a little like some out here do ... but I got to meet former wife Gillian after the Magnolia Road Race one year. What a wonderful, kind, genuine person! She even listened to not one BUT two of my own road race stories.

BTW she won Magnolia in Master Senior but also she beat EVERYONE male/female across age groups. She’s world class fast.

It’s sad about our playwright.

Speaking of harassment, earlier on this thread I drifted to my trip across country on Amtrak - four days and three nights. During that time, there was a guy, about my age, seated nearby who always struck up a conversation with any female passenger that would listen - it seemed he was hitting on women despite being slovenly dressed. The two women in the seats across and in the next row endured him standing in the aisle talking/hitting on them.

Our conductor made his presence made (at times a female conductor) so I think the women felt safe (each pair of seats has a call button) - sometimes amused - sometimes annoyed and blatenly ignored him. One of the women had two well behaved kids who sat next them and directly in front of them.

He was annoying to me because I felt obligated to keep track of the guy’s behavior... OTOH the women seemed to be street smart. The M/F conductors make it safe. But here’s a scene where the guy went over the edge -

[The guy is standing up and the women (gal - 20 y.o.) is seated.]

Guy: “just because your father’s a retired cop doesn’t mean I can’t touch you”

Girl: “Don’t touch me”

[Guy pokes her arm with his finger]

Girl: “You just touched me - don’t touch me”

[Guy repeats poking]

Girl: “You touched me again. I told you not to touch me. I mean it don’t touch me”

Several passengers turn heads. He retreated back to his seat. I was hoping he’d get thrown off the train. Our top speed was a whooping 91 MPH but for most of AZ a veeeeery slooooow 40.

Thanks FC I wasn’t familiar with OKGO.

I enjoyed one other video by OKGO shot in weighlessness. Pretty cool. “Upside down Inside Out” shot on the Russian version of the original American weightless trainer C-130 and later KC-135.

Here’s a link to the making of ”Upside down inside out” and has a lot of their videos including this one. Talk about planning! American group - almost entirely Russian crew. Very inspiring. Background here:
