I assume so. I probably got a dozen or so responses asking "car still available?" and no follow up. Same thing when I used to sell Sox tickets.

"EPYC KF"

Large gathering around sunset last night at the yacht club. People mostly in white a few in beige. It looked like a wedding of 100 or so. Noticed people moving around. Very loud singing, don't know what, but not for long.

Made sense later they were filming "KF". Today at 3PM many were on break behind the YC. Every square foot had cars or trucks. Looked low rent - not affordable but low low rent.

Wish I was in on it.

Right now I'm spending more money to repair than I would leasing for a year. I put usually less than 5k miles on my truck per year,  after talking to a few who lease I think that's the way to go for at least 36 months then I'll entertain thoughts of buying it out.

Those yellow and black KF signs mean "keep financing" OR "KA$H FOR" a truck don't lease.

They say if you can deduct it, then leasing might work but dealers try to trip you to break the lease.  Regular check ups and oil schedules must be done on schedule.

Your current truck is about 2 years from being free from emissions testing. If your dodge were to fail emissions today you might get two years in waivers.

Also important - is to understand the buy back deal.

I was just at the dealership and now leasing sounds like a good plan. For 3 years I can lease at less than half the monthly payments than buying. After factoring in the residual price at the end of the term I can buyout the truck at affordable monthly payments and still have 3 years/36k miles on the warranty. One big plus in leasing from Ford is they roll in the sales/excise tax into the monthly payments.

This isn't specifically about Cape Ann so I'm keeping it to the  "..."  thread.  I love reading the Conway Daily Sun which writes about what is going on in the White Mountain area of NH and parts of Maine.

For those of you who care about our water supply and corporate takeover of it...this timeline from Fryeburg, Maine about Nestle's proposal to build a 4th bottling plant there is very interesting. Particularly note that when the local water authority voiced concerns, a Selectman suggested disbanding it and said it had outlived its purpose! It was later found that he had sold 32 of his own acres to Nestle. This is what goes on.

Hopefully NOTHING "---" comes of this.

Let the eggs fly.  Who is Eastman?

Nestlè (Poland Springs) ALREADY takes enough of the water out of Maine and plastic for bottles!!!

I know the wonderful Cold River runs from the north and into Fryeburg Maine.  This project most likely could impact the Cold River and I should hope the Appalachian Mountain Club is aware of the potential threat on the Cold River AMC camp.

Thank you Karly - for the link to the time line - the meeting is tonight and vote is thiis Thursday.   In Fryeburg.

Again this project SHOULD BE about "---"

I got a fast response from the AMC:

Thank you VERY much, Leland. So often, it is through notes like this from our members and supporters that we first hear about conservation issues that we need to be involved in.

Please stay in touch, and I will run this past our staff more familiar with that area specifically.

Best,

Mark

Trinidad and Tobago, 2    United States, 1

No World Cup participation for the USA next year.
Sad to be not playing in the most important international sports tournament.
It will be much less fun to watch all the pomp.

I never liked soccer, they time it all wrong! No stadium visible count down timer and you never know how much time is remaining. The only one keeping time is an official and who knows if he has a favorite team. He could add or take away "extended play". Teams can't strategize time remaining in a 1 goal game. Those horns the crowd had in South Africa was annoying too!

That is quite a story with Iceland. Smallest country by far to "make the cut" to the Big Show.
Love one of their nicknames, "The Viking Thunder Clap".....

And the USA lost to the second smallest country ever to reach the World Cup!
This USA loss is a real set back, and it is sad that this huge event now continues without us.

The meeting, as reported, seem to focus on the TIF and the environment discussions not as much. I don't know much about aquifers but the Cold River empties into Charles Pond - it wasn't mentioned but others were.

The TIF seemed overly generous with risk of the people of Fryeburg to pay for road and other site infrastructure.

At a buck a bottle you'd think Poland Springs/Nestles could cover ALL costs,

Found a baby mouse in my car and not sure what I should do. Let it take its chances outside or put it out of its misery? Has fur but it looks like eyes aren't fully open.

Today WAS a big day in Fryeburg ME.  By a very large margin on both votes the land sale to Poland Springs and the TIF failed.  High turn-out too.

I hope to do a foilage tour soon thru Fryeburg and up 113.  One year it rained ... it was just as beautiful. My favotite color FOIL is red!

I'll take Hurricane Mountain Road back.
