A friend of mine currently has 8 baby goldens...my favorite breed.  They look so much like that right now when feeding.  Sometimes just one at a time.  Lovely.

Morbid Obesity is a far greater threat to the United States than is North Korea. So many people making themselves sick. But it seems off-limits to talk about it.

Some "one" stole the Goose Cove Gardens sign when it closed last year.

Yes, the beavers are busy little people.

Keurig = the antithesis of real coffee-making. Expensive and environmentally suspect. Bloody awful things.

I saw calculations the Beavers made in the mud by their Goose Cove lodge:

25,000 x 20% x 7 cups a week x 3 weeks =

Wasted EVERY 3 weeks = 100,000 Kcups = NEW LODGE!!!

Beavers are very clever engineers!
Thanks to twenty percent Kcup users in Gloucester!

For those driving up the line that want to go to Maud Lewis's house:

Take RouteOne North and in about 1,000 miles stop when you reach Maud Lewis Lane.

The house is on Route One.

Bring a passport.

Thank you gator. I usually check the Rockport Police notes for vital emergencies but missed that somehow.

Have you heard about the golden that gave birth to a green puppy? Golden's are such a handsome breed. My third favorite after German Shepherds and mutts.

It was very surreal watch evening flights arrive at Beverly yesterday. My heart started pumping when the pilot of a 30-some passenger jet liner got very confused and made a pancake landing one third down the runway. He should have gone around.

The plane was too high on runway 16 but the pilot landed anyway and took up the entire runway. Normally the plane would choose one of three taxiways or the runway 27 at the end. Brakes and thrust reversers on - it was so close of crashing into the end of the runway.
