they come across an old canoe laying around outside a cabin they're redoing. They decide to cut it up and make it into a bench, or a bookcase, etc... I can't help but yell "Wait!! No!--" at the tv. Can't really tell from brief tv snips, but sometimes they look like they're in decent enough shape to fix up. Anyone else experience such mild distress?

They refurbish people's properties - lake cabins, etc - which are typically a bit run-down. I like that they don't go overboard with things like they do on other shows (1000" flat screen tv, flick a switch "fire pits", restaurant-sized outdoor kitchen/grill areas, waterfalls, "kegerators",..)Sometimes they're on an island and bringing the stuff in is a challenge. Instead, they redo it and keep the spirit of what the cabin is supposed to be, while upgrading esthetics & functionality. At least, that's my impression so far. Nice show.
