I hope the link works. This is a link to a friend of a friend's Facebook album. He has some absolutely amazing photo's of the fire. And to think, we thought we were close. His cloud photos would have had us scraping our shorts and trembling on the portage for sure!

Thanks for the look. I doubt I'll ever go into that area again. Oh, it will green up in the near future, but it will not be a place for me to frequent in my lifetime. I was in the Ham Lake fire area bping and canoeing and it was, to put it out there, ugly. Not what I go to the BW for something else. That is me. Others can think as they like.
The photos were appreciated.
