I liked New Moon much better than Twilight. Then again, despite my penchant for vamps.....I like Jacob more than Edmund. And TL is such a hottie here. And the wolf effects are awesome. And there's more Cullen family stuff. I actually like the family and would enjoy a non-B/E focus, frankly.

My sister bought it and I'm getting ready to watch!! Can't wait after having a crappy day. New Moon, a glass of wine and some peanut M&Ms, yummy!

wow---so much to catch up on in the posts :) I will be flying to Fl to get my 9 yr old granddaughter next weekend. First time she will be here without her parents. She is so in love with Edward. I bought tickets to see Eclipse to surprise her. Since they are making another movie...I'm thinking the birth part probably won't be in this one. Hope not anyway.

Hey KMInfinity-how you been? I agree with you- I liked New Moon more than Twilight. I'm Team Jacob even though I know she's with Edward all the way lol.

Hi jcluckey. I haven't been to a movie in over 15 years and had no idea you could get the tickets in advance online. Even if the movie ends up sucking I'll enjoy it just being able to be with my granddaughter :)

Newborn Vamp Bree Awakens in Eclipse Clip

By Alison Schwartz

Thursday June 10, 2010 03:45 PM EDT

Just can't quench your thirst for all things Twilight? Bottoms up, Twi-Hards: Check out the latest clip from Eclipse.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3V-ysvoD5I

In this sneak peak, the fresh-faced blood-sucker is introducing another newbie to the vampire lifestyle – and, you heard him right, that involves drinking not something, but someone. Riley (Xavier Samuel) was changed by Victoria, Bella's cold-blooded nemesis, who wants nothing more than a little deadly fang-to-flesh action. The two new vampires are part of evil Victoria's master plan: To create an army of newborn vampires to kill Bella (Kristen Stewart).

And that's not just any newborn. The gasping girl in need of a beverage is Bree Tanner (Jodelle Ferland), the subject of Stephenie Meyer's latest Twilight installment, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella.

"What did you do to me?" the newborn asks in the clip. We can only imagine, Bree.

~~~
I still haven't seen the second movie. It's on my to do list for this summer! B-)
Breaking Dawn Getting Broken Down into Two Films
By Sarah Schlow
Friday June 11, 2010 09:15 AM EDT
Twilight fans have twice as many reasons to cheer. Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Breaking Dawn, the fourth novel in Stephanie Meyer's best-selling vampire series, will be released as two separate films.
The first installment will be released on the originally announced date of November 18, 2011. The second film's release date has yet to be announced. The production of both films will happen simultaneously and is expected to last four to five months, starting in the late fall.
Oscar winning director Bill Condon – best known for writing and directing Gods and Monsters, Chicago and Dreamgirls – will be directing both films. And stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are of course back. However, it has not been confirmed whether Dakota Fanning (as Jane) and Michael Sheen (as Aro) will reprise their roles. And despite graphic scenes in the novel involving sex and childbirth, the film adaptations will have a PG-13 rating.
The biggest question now is where in the story the first film will end and the second film begin. Fans will surely start speculating as they wait in line to see Eclipse, which hits theaters June 30.
I finished it yesterday. It was good, tied in well with Eclipse. It was nice to have another side story.
