I think the Sons are probably kinda gonna be okay with Tig/Venus. Sure, there's 'Should I be worried?', but it's light/jokey, not 'hey, you know that's not cool'.

Sounds like #s 5-9 are too packed with stuff to give us any more Venus, but she'll be back in #10...

I expect there will be a few survivors, but yes, a lot of blood, too.

I think Sutter has really gone over the top with the violence, and I am not enjoying it. Why kill the women at Diosa? If this occured in reality, it would get so much national attention, the Feds would be crawling all over town.

I did enjoy the Tig Venus moment...

Also, Gemma's rant at the school. Much as I hate Gemma, I have to admit behaving similarly under those circumstances....

Either Juice will kill himslef or Gemma will kill him soon, I predict.

I hope they do all get killed in the end, there is no one worth redemption, but maybe Nero.

I don't see Gemma killing Juice. And I don't see him being suicidal (for the... third time, wouldn't it be?). It is hard to see Juice surviving the series, but... not going out those ways, I don't think.

Nine shows left.

9??? I didn't think there was that many. They aren't going to split this season are they?

Nope, except for taking off the week of Thanksgiving (no show on 11/25, so there's a two-week gap between 11 and 12). Finale (#13) is on 12/9.

92 total episodes - 13/13/13/14/13/13/13

OK thank Dax. For some reason I thought this season was short. Good that it's not.

Boardwalk Empire fifth-and-final is 8 instead of the usual 12.
The Newsroom third-and-final is only 6 (starts on 11/9).
White Collar sixth-and-final is only 6 (starts on 11/6).

I probably shouldn't stop in here and say this but since we're all friends -

When I stumble on an SOA add or a repeat episode on the online guide I'm relieved.

i don't even feel a little curious how it's playing out, which is unusual for my completist compulsion.

KMI - Four in, no major character deaths yet, but the Chinese just slaughtered 16 people at Diosa, including Kim Dickens' character, Colette. (Lyla wasn't there.)

Apparently, Dickens has a good role in Gone Girl, opening this weekend.

I was very glad Lyla escaped the massacre.

I'm now starting to get annoyed by all the useless violence and lack of compelling story....I'll still watch to the end but if things dont start to change I will be VERY disappointed by the final season. I dont know if it will sour my high opinion on the show as a whole but it will easily be the worst season of the series.
