It seems like he doesn't remember at the end of 7. And while I can understand him being coerced to confess as a teenager, I still don't understand why he isn't taking a more active role in staying out of prison now. If you don't remember that you killed someone, why wouldn't you be more upset about spending half of your life on death row?
