‘Young and the Restless’ Christian LeBlanc Leaving Y&R – Cast As New Kevin Collins On GH?

“General Hospital” spoilers and rumors reveal that The Young and the Restless star Christian LeBlanc could be headed to Port Charles! LeBlanc’s character Michael Baldwin has been battling cancer on the CBS soap for months now, and recently his health took a turn for the worse – it looks like the writers at “The Young and the Restless” really are planning on killing off the iconic character. Rumors have been teasing for months that Christian LeBlanc was headed to “General Hospital,” and according to a new casting call – that could really be the case.
“General Hospital” has been nabbing Y&R’s big name actors for the past year now, including Billy Miller and Michelle Stafford. Anyone who follows Michelle or Christian on social media can tell you that the two stars are best friends in real life – so it isn’t hard to believe that LeBlanc would follow Michelle over to “General Hospital.” According to Y&R rumors, LeBlanc’s storyline on the CBS soap is wrapping up and spoilers tease that he could be killed off within the next couple weeks.
According to “General Hospital” spoilers from Soap Opera Digest, GH has just placed a casting call for “a name actor to play a “handsome, charming Caucasian man in his 50s.” It is described as a major recurring role.” A popular theory among GH fans is that the character being cast is Kevin Collins, seeing as how his previous portrayer Jon Lindstrom has moved on to other projects. And, Christian LeBlanc would make a great Dr. Collins – we can already see him and Lucy Coe working on their relationship after Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) exits, which is supposed to be during the 2015 Nurse’s Ball.

Ric Proposes Marriage to Liz – Jake’s Fake Marriage Exposed, Who Get’s New Boyfriend?

“General Hospital” spoilers indicate that Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) plot to keep lady love Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) away from Jake Barnes (Billy Miller) is falling apart faster than he hoped. But will Ric make a strategic move to lock in Liz for good with a well-timed wedding proposal? If Ric can get Liz to the altar before the ugly truth comes out that Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) is a phony and not amnesiac Jake’s wife, maybe he can keep Liz and, importantly, keep her out of Jake’s muscular arms.
Actor Rick Hearst recently talked about Ric’s hopes for his relationship with Liz in Soap Opera Digest. He said, “Ric understands it’s all a process with her. It’s sort of like ‘Dungeons and Dragons’. You’ve reached the first level of trust! You will now go on to the next!” Then Hearst through out the “M” word. He said, “To marry Elizabeth once again is his ultimate goal… so Ric throws marriage out there as a possibility…”
It seemed like Ric was getting ready to offer an off-hand proposal at his recent dinner with Liz before Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) busted into their meal at the Metro Court (why would Ric even bring her there?) and started hurling accusations at Ric. This put Ric on the defensive and killed the moment before he could work up his courage to let Liz know he’s in this for the long haul and wants his ring on her finger and her on his arm for good.
Once Ric does work up the nerve to mention marriage (or re-marriage in this case), “General Hospital” spoilers reveal that Liz will not throw up her hands and say I do. Liz will waffle and put off answering because she’s still hankering for Jake and she knows that Ric can be a tricky trickster and will want assurances that he’s not up to his old shenanigans before she agrees to settle down with him again.
And since Carly pushed Hayden on the subject of whether Jake has been shagging Hayden, Liz will have even more second thoughts. If he’s not bedding his supposed wife as Hayden indicated, this will give Liz hope for the future and a reason to put the brakes on with Ric. Rebecca Herbst said that Liz is “feeling so much that she doesn’t know how to put it into words”.
And speaking of Jake, Rick Hearst also said, “There’s some insecurity there, but it’s also that male level of competition. He doesn’t entertain the thought that she may have feelings for him [Jake]… he puts it more on ‘Jake’ as the one that is hung up on her [Liz]… I think Ric definitely wants to keep one eye on her [Liz] and one eye on him [Jake].”
What’s really interesting in all of this is that Ric is really jealous of Jake as an unknown entity, as a generic male threat to his relationship with Liz. But if Ric knew that Jake was really Jason Morgan, he’d really be imploding right now. Recall that Ric has long been jealous of brother Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) brotherly relationship with Jason, so if he knew that’s who Jake was, he would be frustrated on two fronts.
If Ric can get Liz to the church on time, there’s a good chance he’ll have a runaway bride, but he better make a move soon. “General Hospital” gossip indicates that the time line for Ric’s scheming to fall apart is the Nurses Ball. He’ll squire Liz to the Ball and may even be planning on making a big gesture to propose on that magical evening, but it will all blow up in his face.
Pete, the guy that posed for the Jake pre-plastic surgery wedding photos has landed a job working at the Nurses Ball and Carly will recognize Pete from the pics she’s been shown. Pile that onto the research Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) are conducting and Ric is headed for disaster in less than two weeks.
The big news that will come out is that Jake is not married, but not who Jake really is – not yet anyway. Although more “General Hospital” rumors abound that Liz will realize who Jake is and will keep the knowledge to herself because she’ll want to hang onto Jake and knows that Sam would snatch him away if she knew Jake was really her thought-to-be-dead hubby Jason.
Interestingly, Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) may also figure out that Jake is Jason and will also keep this to himself so he doesn’t lose Sam to her real hubby. That will make three people in Port Charles keeping Jake’s identity to themselves to pursue their selfish ends – Liz, Patrick and Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) who wants to keep Jake’s ID under wraps until he steals ELQ away.
Poor Jake. Poor Liz. But mostly, poor Ric. Sure Ric is a cad, but all he really wants is love in his life so you can kind of see where he’s coming from. But Ric never, ever, ever gets what he wants and will, instead, get what he deserves when he loses Liz to Jake very soon

General Hospital Spoilers: Robin Pregnant, Duke Killed at 2015 Nurses Ball – Jordan and Dante Shot, Jake Saves Sonny and Carly

The “General Hospital” spoilers for the 2015 Nurses Ball is nearly here and have we got spoilers for you! The Nurses Ball will span three days of the program from Friday, May 1 through Tuesday May 5. First, based on the #FanFeb poll, we’ll see the revival of one character we haven’t see in awhile. It will be Stefan Cassadine, Serena Baldwin, Mike Corinthos or Courtney Matthews. Personally, I’m rooting for Stefan – it’s always fun to have more Cassadines around. The real question is will it be a legitimate appearance, a flashback, dream sequence or ghostly manifestation?
In addition to the fan choice return, there were rumors that Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) would be returning based on some social media chatter between her and Kelly McCullough who plays Robin Scorpio. Turns out that’s not happening. Call us #disappointed. But here’s an even crazier “General Hospital” rumor…
There’s word floating around that Robin will show up for the Nurse’s Ball since her first love Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) is being honored at this year’s event. But that’s not the outrageous part. Get this – the crazy rumor is that Robin will turn back up in Port Charles pregnant – and not just pregnant, but pregnant with the last remaining embryo that belongs to Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) – compounding the problem is that Helena likely had the ovum fertilized with Stavros’ sperm and not her hubby Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna). Imagine poor Robin returning pregnant with a Cassadine baby!
Remember that Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) had the last embryo and the talk is that she decided to implant it in Robin for safekeeping. If Robin shows up, she’ll know exactly who Jake Doe (Billy Miller) is and can blow the whole mystery of the sexy amnesiac wide open. So that’s the big rumor that we can hope may come to pass, but now we’ll share some solid spoilers on what to expect at the Nurses Ball.
First, we know that Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) is a goner. He’s either been released from his GH contract or has retired, depending on what source you believe, but either way he’s going, going, gone and will depart in a blaze of glory. Duke will take a bullet from his lady love Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that will end his life. But here’s the question? Does Anna kill him with intent or happenstance?
We also know that Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) and Dante will be injured in a mob shoot out, one of two bloody events that will break out at the Nurses Ball. So you have to wonder if Duke was making a move on Jordan since he’s realized she’s Anna’s CI and Anna had to choose between Duke and Ashford. Alternately, it could be a straight up Jerome vs Corinthos showdown and Anna could be with the cops – including Dante and Jordan and Duke just happens to get shot by her.
The mob fracas is supposed to happen in a parking deck while an assassination attempt takes places out front of the Metro Court on the red carpet. The assassination is a hit against Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and good old Jake Doe (Billy Miller) will be there to save their butts like he’s done so many times before.
Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will also be injured in the bloody melee but it’s not clear if they will be part of the assassination or mob confrontation. Julian Jerome (William deVry) and Lulu are also supposed to be present at the shooting but will emerge unscathed. The big question is whether Olivia will lose her baby – there are indications that her injuries will put the baby at risk, but she will not lose the child.
What Olivia will lose is newly found love Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) who will have a swan song as Eddie Maine onstage at the event but who will then leave Port Charles. We know Kurth is headed back to Days of Our Lives and is done as Ned for now but there are some lingering questions about his departure. Will Ned leave town in shame once the family finds out that he gave his ELQ shares to Franco (Roger Howarth) when he knows they’re facing a takeover.
Or – and this is more exciting – will Olivia’s fear over the prospect of losing her baby lead her to confess to Julian that the baby is his? And will that cause a rift between Olivia and Ned that will have him scurrying out of Port Charles in anguish? And when Olivia does come clean, will Julian’s relationship with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) end up on the rocks? I’m a little bored with them, so I’m totally down with and Olivia + Julian pairing – we could call them Olian or Juvia…
And, Carly will survive her assassination attempt and feel hale and hearty enough to get into a major catfight with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) after Carly recognizes Pete, the “before” Jake from the wedding photos working at the Nurses Ball. Carly knows for sure that Hayden is lying and everything is about to fall apart for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) at long last. The Nurses Ball is going to be three days of nonstop action and it looks like most of it will be offstage, despite all of Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) precise planning. And it also looks like Duke may miss their tango after all. Either that, or it will be his last tango in Port Charles – or anywhere else!

Thanks 2buddy! Lots of info there. Still not thrilled about them turning the Ball into a bloodbath but at least it sounds exciting. I've had about enough of the Jake/Jason mystery. Robin preggo with a Lulu/Stavros kid......hmmmm thats an intriguing idea.

General Hospital's Anthony Geary to Exit

The next time General Hospital‘s Luke leaves town, it’s going to be for good. (No, really.)
GH vet Anthony Geary will exit the ABC soap for good when his current contract is up, he tells TVInsider.
Geary will shoot the daytime drama through late June; his episodes will air through late July.
“I'm just weary of the grind and have been for 20 years,” says the Emmy winner, who has won eight trophies for playing Luke Spencer since 1978. “I really don’t want to die, collapsing in a heap, on that GH set one day. That wouldn't be too poetic.”

Geary says he made the decision to leave in January.
“So that’s why the series is bringing back Genie Francis’ Laura,” who was Geary’s character’s romantic partner for many years, you say? Not necessarily.
“Genie and I agreed several years ago that the love of Luke and Laura had run its course,” he says. “They have children together and a very storied history, and there’s definitely still love there, but I think they’re toxic to each other at this point.”

Geary tells the site that once he’s done being Luke, he’ll reside in Amsterdam, where he’s spent much of his time over the past few years.
“There are still some surprises, the usual twists and turns and interesting guest stars coming up before Luke leaves town,” Geary promises.

Nurses Ball was fun, not the best ever but good. Lucas and Brad getting engaged was cute. The pop in by Britt was nice, I wasnt a fan of the character but I did enjoy her friendship with Brad so it was fun seeing them together again. Glad Anna wasnt the one who shot Duke and it all actually went down after the ball was over. Jordan should be the police comissioner, she's killed more mobsters than the entire PCPD combined. Hate that they are making Elizabeth a schemer, lying about Jason seems way out of character for her.
