He denied it was him when fans asked him years ago. But he said that guy did look like him.

He was in the U.S. in 1972 doing his DJ job and wasn't in HK.
This fat guy was picked by the WOTD casting from the street or cheap hotel where foreigners stayed.

Piet Schweer was one of the white extra who worked in Bruce’s WOTD as the Italian thug. He had some brief appearances in this movie. One in the restaurant and another at the back alley where he and the other 3 thugs took on Tang Lung (BL). Of course, he and the rest were all KO by Tang Lung completely.

To make the characters of the thugs stood out to the audience, Bruce was good in getting 4 various types of thugs to appear in those scenes, a tall black guy, a fat white guy, a fair look black guy(?) and a tall lean white guy, i.e. Piet Schweer. Audience could still remember their expressions after all these years though they all appeared briefly in WOTD. Credits have to go to the director, BL.

Actually, Piet Schweer was among the group of Guailos (HK names of white devils) being picked by Bruce to play the extras in WOTD. Some of them were actually friends of Bruce’s brother Robert Lee, who was once a pop artist in HK. These extras knew music and would play the drums, guitars etc. while singing during the interval of the shooting. Bruce would join them in the singing sessions too. One of his favorite songs was a Spanish translated English song, “Guantanamera.” He would get one of the extra to sing it again and again until that extra got sick of it.

Piet Schweer is still alive and has put on weight after these years. He surely looks better than the thin, unhealthy look thug in WOTD. In his facebook, he showed few photos which he appeared in WOTD and he wrote about Bruce, “Only the Best. It was much fun (and some pain - real blows) to work with him and see him working.”

Piet Schweer’s WOTD photo in his FB:

Piet Schweer changed the role with a rickshaw driver. He became the rickshaw driver and the driver became the passenger. Funny pose taken in front of the HK’s Peninsula Hotel:

Any idea? The one below Lee, smiling and pleading for help.

Among the 'bad guys' film extras, there's one named Mark Metekingi, an aborginal New Zealander.
He was an excellent singer, singing Guantanamera so well.

Thanks, Nick. He's an aborginal New Zealander, no wonder looks tanned and different from the other thugs extras.
